Pumpkin Carving and Halloween

Reed and Grandma Sue tracing the ghost to cut it out on the pumpkin.  Reed really enjoys carving pumpkins and doing things to get ready for each holiday.

Reed and the pumpkins we carved.

Millner Heritage Winery

The Millner Family
Heidi, Dru, Julie, Leo, John, Sue, Reed, Heather and Jason

Jason, Reed and I took the Millner family to a winery for our Christmas gift for 2010. It was kind of a surprise for a fun coinsidence. No relation to us but still fun to find another family that spells their last name with 2 l's like we do. The owners name was Jon Millner, which was also a fun coinsidence. It was a fun and long day. The winery is located near St. Cloud, MN so after the winery we drove to St. Cloud for some dinner before the long trek home.
Merry Christmas to the Millner family. :)

Apple Orchard 2011

Leo picking apples. He had so much fun.

Hanging out in the grapevines at the orchard. :) They have both apples and grapes at this orchard/vineyard. They have something for everyone.

Reed picking apples.

Reed and Dru riding on a wagon. It was absolutely beautiful the day we went. When we had hit our limit at Deerdorff Orchard we went to Subway Eat Fresh (as Reed calls it) for lunch.

Great day spent with family.

Target Reading Event

The two boys, Grandma Sue and Heather went to the Target reading event at Hyland Park Reserve in Bloomington. It was a very nice day and they each got new books to read. Lego books were the hit with Reed.

First Day of Kindergarten 2011

The first few weeks of Kindergarten has been exhausting for Jason, Heather and Reed. Reed has been really tired which make him very crabby and a very naughty boy. I have to say this week has been good up until he locked me out of the house tonight (9-28-11). Luckily we have a key ready for such an event. Who knew Kindergarten would be such a hard transition.

Twins game 2011

Grandma Sue and Grandpa John took the whole Millner clan to the Twins game on August 7th. It wasn't a win for the Twins but we had fun anyways. Thank you G-ma Sue and G-pa John.

Summer 2011

A trip or two or three to Pelican Lake. Reed loves fishing with Daddy and Papa Charlie. He loves riding on the jetski and driving the John Deere.

We spent some time at Scot and Holly's cabin near Hayward, Wisconsin. Reed loved riding the scooters down the driveway. He finally got the hang of driving it himself about an hour before we had to leave. He absolutely loves spending time with his cousins.

Reed and Heather went to the MN State Fair with the Scot Schultz family, Grandma Lu and Papa Charlie, and Bud and Sandee. We had a good time. Reed had such a good time that he slept until 11:00 the next morning. We ate many things and took a ride in the Uncle Donald's racing car. Life IS good.

T-Ball 2011

Reed has a blast playing t-ball this summer with his best buddie, Donovan.

I love the fact that none of them can touch the ground while on the bench. It was so cute.

Playing first base. Go Giants!!!

I think Jason was surprised. We said we didn't feel like cooking and wanted to go out to Chili's. He suggested he would meet us there on his way home. Little did he know we would also be dining with a few of his closest friends and more family members than he thought. Thanks to all for the birthday wishes on Jason's birthday.

We had some very beautiful weather.

Grandma Lu and Papa Charlie with Reed

Thank you to Grandma Lu and Papa Charlie for driving all the way down to watch Reed graduate from preschool. We thank Grandma Sue and Grandpa John for coming and finally getting to see Reed sing the songs he has been singing at home.
Reed, Jason and I appreciate the support from our family in raising a wonderful little boy. It means a lot to Jason and I that Reed's grandparents could be there at this big event in his life. We love you.
