"Just Reed"

Before hair cut.

Powdered sugar doughnuts are the best. My mommy never buys them.

After my hair cut. Grandma Sue has the touch. I "like it" (or tolerate it) when she cuts my hair.

My favorite toy is the box they come in. I can sit in it or wear it as a "at" (hat).

February 2008

Jason and I were able to get away for a week by ourselves. It was nice to spend some quality time with Jason. It wasn't easy leaving Reed behind but we knew he would be in good hands. Jason's parents watched Reed from Sunday morning until Friday morning. Then my parents watched him Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. I was fine all week until I called Sunday to tell my parents about our flight being delayed and Reed said "Hi, Mama." Then I lost it. I am glad I didn't call before then.
LaBadee, Haiti, a private island owned by Royal Caribbean.
Our ship, the Freedom of the Seas.

Reed spent some time with his cousin, Dru, while we were gone. He really thinks she live with his Grandma Sue and Grandpa John since when he visits them she is usually there or on her way over too. He thinks she is pretty cool as you can tell from the picture. Heidi thinks he was telling Dru to smile for the camera for this one. Too cute!!!!

January 2008

The Miller/Schultz Annual New Years Day gathering. Reed made it in the annual kids picture. I am not sure why we parents put ourselves through the hassle of getting all the kids in a photo but hopefully in the future we can look back and remember the good 'ol days.

Reed in the tub with his "at" on. He calls the plastic container his hat. And getting out of the tub without the hat can be a challenge sometimes.

Reed was home sick one day and I put him to work. No I am only kidding. He saw me cleaning and wanted to try. It was definitely a picture moment.

Christmas 2007

Reed had a Christmas program at school. The kids sang two songs and wore these cute Santa hats. Reed is the short one with the hat on. The video is the funniest thing you have ever seen. He starts crying after spotting Jason and I in the crowd. He was not sure what was happening. Something I will cherish as he gets older.

Grandma Lu and Papa Charlie with the grandkids during the Schultz Christmas celebration.

A family photo on Christmas Eve at my Uncle Jere's home.

Christmas day at the Blooms. It was getting late but Reed was still going "strong".
