Staples for Reed

Reed had his second trip to the ER last Sunday. Reed fell down and hit his head. He ended up with two staples in his head. (like his cousin Dru had before Christmas) We thought he would fall and hurt himself while skating (see entry below) so he had a helmet and everything on. Little did we know he would need to walk around with a helmet on. :) I am sure it won't be the last time he will get hurt, this may just be the beginning.

First Time on Hockey Skates Jan. 28th, 2011

Jason, Reed and I went to a local skating rink and tried skating for the first time. Reed did fairly well for a first timer. He likes to play hockey and Daddy likes playing with Reed.

Reed pulled out his crazy self and started playing the guitar and performing with all the kids at the party. Cooper was the lead singer, Bella was a dancer and Reed rocked it out on blow up guitar.

Christmas Marathon 2010

Christmas Eve started out at church celebrating Jesus' birth. We went to the 1:00 service so we could fit everything in that night.

Our first stop was at Uncle Jere's house, visiting with mommy's cousins Perry (above) and Jason (below), Uncle Jere and Grandma Jean.

Next we went to Auntie Lois and Uncle Denny's house for dinner and the dollar gift game.

Christmas morning was spent opening gifts at our house that Santa brought. Reed was a good boy this year.

Then on to Grandma Sue and Grandpa John's for more gift opening, breakfast and the Christmas Day celebrating. We were joined by the Bloom family later that afternoon.

Christmas Day we ended at Uncle Keith and Aunt Cheryl's. Reed really likes Uncle Keith, he was his shadow while we were there.

The day after Christmas was spent at Scot and Holly's house opening gift with the Schultz family. Wow, we really need to train more for these Christmas marathons. It is very exhausting.
